This design is ideal in areas that have a fall or step no higher than 600mm from ground level. Using 10mm glass the design can also be used in all areas within or serving exclusively one single family dwelling including stairs, landings, etc. but excluding external balconies and edges of roofs. All our 10mm Glass Mini Post Balustrade & Mini Rail kits are designed to meet required 0.36kN loadings for any domestic requirements and are tested/certified to BS6180.
This self install kits can also be used in areas with light pedestrian traffic in offices and work areas except designated escape routes.
If you need to use in areas at heights greater than 600mm from ground level we suggest you look at our 12mm Glass Mini Post Kit solution to meet building regulation requirements.
