Ordering Your Kit

We create your design for you to check over prior to manufacture

When you are happy with the design proposal created for you it is very easy to move things forward.

Initially a 10% deposit deposit will secure your project with us and start the drawings process. Our design team will create a comprehensive CAD visualisation of your system with all the important dimensions information which will be emailed over to you for approval. This allows you to know exactly what is going to be manufactured for your project and visualise your space before it is installed.

Following the receipt of the deposit and design process there is another two stages in the payment process. The intermediary payment enables the manufacturing process. The despatch payment ( receipt of the full balance) secures the despatch of your completed balustrade kit. These two payments are both split as 50% staged payments of the remaining balance following the receipt of the deposit.

Our sales and customer service teams are happy to explain this process based on your bespoke order requirements.

The simple three stage ordering process design, manufacture and despatch

Once we receive your approval of the drawings and visualisations we will request 50% of the remaining balance to start the manufacturing process. The manufacturing process typically takes around 3-4 weeks dependant on the size and design requirements of the project. Our customer support team will liaise with yourself early in the ordering process to provide estimated lead times.

Most projects undergo a two stage manufacturing process. A full bill of materials, cutting lists and templating is provide to our in-house manufacturing team. The first stage is the cutting and toughening of your glass (and in some cases the lamination of your safety glass). During this time the second stage is to select your stainless steel components and manufacture these into easy-to-install kits.

Once the glass has been manufactured, quality checked and securely placed on the stillage pallet, your stainless steel balustrade kit is packed along with the glass for easy collection and delivery. At this point your final balance is due so the goods can be released for delivery.

The Delivery Process

The delivery process starts at the point of ordering. All projects are fully managed and scheduled enabling the full process of design, manufacture and delivery, to run smoothly.

How long does it take to get my goods from ordering? From approval of drawings and receipt of payment, a typical project will normally be fulfilled within three weeks period. As some customised aspects of projects sometimes involves advanced manufacturing requirements these timescales can vary depending on the complexity of the design along with seasonal demand.

Our customer support team will liaise with yourself to discuss your bespoke requirements and expected timescales of manufacture and delivery. It is very important to plan your own schedule that meets your site needs. By placing the order in plenty of time means that you have time to do your site preparations prior to receipt of the goods. Once the goods are manufactured a member of our team will contact yourself to schedule the delivery that is convenient for yourself.

So how are the goods packed? The glass panels are carefully packed using an A-framed timber pallet stillage for maximum protection against damage. These are designed to facilitate a simple and efficient delivery process to site. Your glass fixings will often be packed with the glass on the same stillage. Handrails sometimes require separate packing if too long for the standard palletised stillage delivery.

How is the balustrade kit delivered? Your goods will normally be handled by a specialised road haulage carrier with tail lift capabilities, such as Palletways. Handrails will often be collected by a separate specialist long length parcel courier who will deliver the rails separately on the same day.

A date will be agreed between you and ourselves. Usually on the day of delivery the drivers will contact you with an estimated time of arrival.

The delivery is a safe and swift kerbside delivery. You will have to check all goods are received in good order and you will sign for the receipt of the goods. Depending on your chosen glass balustrade design, two deliveries may be required for the same system, however these are always on the same day.
