The Elite Mini-Post is a high quality glass spigot, used in producing high strength frameless glazed balustrade. Dull Polished.

Create a frameless balustrade using the Elite Mini-Post spigot fitting. Two fixings recommended per panel. Ideal for use on decking, terraces, balconies, patio’s and as veranda screens. This square based design has fixing centres ideal to use on decking and top fixed into structural joists. Can be bought along with glass panels and slotted handrails to create a complete solution.

A single cast body, means no additional fabrication or manufacture of parts.
Extremely high strength glass bracket. Manufactured from the highest quality 2205 Duplex stainless steel.
Offers superior corrosion resistance and tensile strength.
Available to accept glass thicknesses between 10mm and 17.5mm.
Tilt Lock design. This allows for easy glass levelling and installation.
Square base spigot designed to be installed easily down into decking joists, secured with 4 fixing screws or bolts.
Also suitable for fixing to other surfaces including masonry, stonework, concrete & steel.
The design incorporates a 45mm gap between the floor and the glass that allows for easy drainage.
No special tools or skill required. Can be fitted by any competent DIY’er and tradesperson.

ELITE MINI POST FIXING INSTRUCTIONS

Instructions:

1) Create a plan with post centres and panel positions.

2) Mark out a centre line that your panels will run in line with.

3) Delineate the Mini-Post centrelines as per plan.

4) Using a template, mark hole centres and drill all holes required to suit fixings. Clean holes to remove dust.

5) Fix posts into position using the appropriate fixings.

6) Slide cover plate over Mini-Post.

7) Loosen grub screws with a 6mm Allen key and align metal inserts into Mini-Post.

8) Locate the correct coloured plastic inserts for the correct glass thickness (see table supplied with Mini-Posts).

9) Carefully lift the glass into the Mini Posts and shuffle in to position. From the centre of the Mini-Post the glass should overhang the Mini-Post by 1⁄4 of its width. Repeat this process leaving the required gaps between the panels.

10) Tighten the grub screws on the front of the Mini-Post using the 6mm Allen key, to align the glass. The bottom screw adjusts the glass inwards and the top screw outwards. Use a spirit level on front of the panel to confirm alignment. Do not over tighten grub screws.

11) Add any other fixings such as our slotted Mini-Rail or Glass-Stiffeners.

11) Finally, clean the glass with a cleaning kit.
