Our Frameless Glass Juliet Balconies are crafted to provide a sleek, modern, and uninterrupted appearance. Their simple yet robust design ensures a secure glass barrier for your elevated openings for French doors, loft conversions bi folding doors or sliding doors.
Also known as Romeo and Juliette Balconies or French Balconies, all our designs are rigorously tested to comply with domestic planning permission, building regulation requirements, and load standards. With three principal designs to choose from, you can customise the final look and finish to suit your needs. We accommodate glass thicknesses from 12mm to 17.5mm and offer a choice between a rectangular profile rail or a stylish oval rail with stainless steel juliet balcony brackets for greater flexibility in your final design.
Our modern and sleek glass Juliet balconies are designed to minimise view disruption. Available in three main styles:
- Top and bottom Handrails
- Top Handrail Only (featuring round bottom support brackets)
- Handrail-Free using laminated glass (Max 1800mm Opening)
- Frosted Glass Juliet Balcony
- Stainless Steel and Glass Juliet Balcony
Additionally, you can select from contemporary rectangular low-profile rails or elegant oval handrails.
The system is offset from the wall by 80mm, adhering to the under 100mm gap requirement for railing solutions. This 80mm gap easily accommodates door sills and lintels.
We use stainless steel components made from Duplex (2205) grade, known for its high tensile strength and excellent corrosion resistance, even in the harshest of marine environments. Originally developed for engineering parts on oil rigs, this steel grade is renowned for its strength and non-corrosive properties.
Our robust design exceeds all domestic glass Juliet balcony loading requirements as per Building Standard legislation. The high-quality materials used ensure easy maintenance.
Each balcony is bespoke manufactured for various opening sizes. Rail and standoff fittings accept different types of fixing bolts, allowing for installation on a variety of building materials and designs.
Installation is straightforward and suitable for any competent DIYer, builder, joiner, or handyman. The modular design requires no on-site fabrication, gluing, or welding.
All our glass balustrade systems are manufactured in our UK-based factory, adhering to the strict Factory Control System and meeting all UK Building Regulations & Standards, including BS6399 and BS6180.
